A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Hobart Indiana and the surrounding areas.  There will be localized flash flooding, poor drainage, and lowland flooding is possible near rivers, streams, and creeks. Please NEVER EVER drive onto flooded roadways! Turn Around, Don’t Drown!

During this Flash Flood Watch we all need to be prepared!

• Check the forecast for updates
• Be aware of the roads that are most likely to flood…avoid them and find alternative route
• Have a place set to go if you need to get to higher ground
• Have multiple ways to receive flood alerts
• Always check on your elderly family, friends, and neighbors
